 adultsports writes "George Sims Event Center will be starting our Coed Power volleyball league on Monday, Feb 8 and Coed Recreational volleyball league on Wed, Feb 10. There is a $255 registration fee per team, high school rules, minimum 4 players ( 2 men/2 women)

| SPIKETOWN OFFERING XMAS QUADS TOURNEY |

The tournament offers both men's and women's divisions and the format will be pool-play followed by single elimination playoffs using current USA Volleyball rules. | Davis open gym switching to Wednesday from Tuesday nights |
|
 Just a note to let you know that Tuesday (October 20, 2009) will be the last Tuesday
night session until further notice. We will be changing nights to Wednesdays on
October 28th. So we will be playing Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays until around
April of 2010. We still start around 9-9:30 and play until after midnight during the
week. Sundays around 4:30-5 until 7pm. Cost is $7.

| local sacramento charter school needs help of a coach |

 cmp writes "My daughters elementary Montessori School is looking for a volleyball coach the season which is very short it runs from Sept. to mid Nov. of this year. We have a small campus in Carmichael and we are part of a charter school called California Montessori Project. Our team is not able to play as of now because we can’t find a coach. We have a game once a week and practice once a week. we have 2 teams . If anyone is able to do some volunteer work for our kids and help them learn the basic of the game and help them it would be so great. We started an Athletic program last year and do it all on our own with volunteer help. The kids really enjoy it. The other 3 school have found coaches so we have had to drop out until we can find one. If there is any way you can help or give us info on how to find a coach for such a short time it would be gratefully appreciated. "
